Due to the situation with COVID-19 we as your Pastors have been in prayer about our Sunday services and other meetings.
We have decided that we will not be having Sunday services or any other meetings until further notice for the following reasons:
- We want to prevent any possible spread of the virus by following the guidance on social distancing
- We have the duty to care for those in our community
- Wealdstone Baptist Church, whom we rent the building from, have closed all their buildings due to COVID-19
- We are heeding the advice from the Government regarding avoiding public gatherings (Respecting Authority – Romans 13:1-5)
As your Pastors we implore the leader of each household to continue with Sunday worship at home. This should include worship, prayer and listening to the sermon which will be put online every Sunday and can be accessed here:
We will get through speaking with all of you on Saturdays between 10-12pm. You can also reach us at any other time on our phones, and we’ll get back to you if we’re unable to take the call at that time.
Let’s keep one another in prayer and use the technology available to us to remain in contact and check up on one another.
Church, although we are living in unprecedented times, our God is in control:
2 Timothy 1:7 – For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
John 16:33 – I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.
Take care of yourselves and one another.
